As Karen Walker says: "drive a car, drive a plane, drive a boat, what do I care as long as I'm drunk."
Is that who said that? All this time I thought Tinky said it.
That's a good motto, Deet!

She just keeps trying.
And just keeps getting denied.
Ah, youth.
She's trying, all right.

But, intent goes a long way! Well, as long as it's allowed to, anyway.
I call it chutzpah.
I call it...
...well, never mind.
I have to love my family (very sarcastic undertones)...
I wonder if I am ever going to hear about a death in a normal fashion in my life time lol. My mom found out that my grandmother died last night by running into someone at a store today. Gotta love it. I mean she's been on her death bed so it's not exactly shocking but is it that hard to pick up a phone people? (and add the extreme deep rooterd bitterness of how i found out about Chris to reasons of why that pisses me off)
Luckily they are not having any type of funeral service so I can avoid getting arrested. (long story summed up quick - this is my grandfather's second wife (my real grandmother died right before my brother was born) but essentially has been the grandma I've known my whole life. She pretty much put her children and family above my mom and her siblings and my grandpa kinda just went with it. So my grandpa would pretty much sneak out to go to the "store" but go see my mom, etc. Which is really stupid, because I lived with my Aunt (mom's step sister) for over a year when I was 17-18. Blah blah blah people are stupid blah blah, but they are all just really uptight "holier than thou" type people who treat my mom like crap. So i've been dreading her's or esp my grandfathers funerals because I will not be able to bite my lip if they give my mom any crap or disrespect etc.)
/end rant
thank you for listening, lol.
And this is why Framily is better. Sending hugs, Tink.

Tink - if you're not keeping track, I will. There's a basis for a mini-series here.
And, I'm sorry for the loss, whatever the circumstances.
D2 - I have never heard more true words! :) Thank you!
Q - I give you guys the full rights. I don't even want a cut of the profit, just make sure the liquor cabinet is always stocked and I'll be set!
Ah, family. Tink, my cousins never called me back in October to tell me my Aunt/Godmother (their mother) died. Another cousin, not related to them was the one who heard about it and called me.
Sorry for your loss.

Harris, be very careful - that "gift" could end up costing you far more than you ever anticipated, in ways you'll never see coming.
Mornin'
Morning.
I was out of the office one day. 206 e-mails since Friday afternoon. *cries*

Good morning!
I hear ya on the e-mail, Girly. It just does not pay, sometimes, to be out.
Speaking of which, lots of folks in my office out sick today with some sort of virus. I better not come down with their malady before my surgery tomorrow. I won't be the only one hurting....
Tink, have you seen Craig's post about the new iPhone app? It's too cool for words!
(and Moony will hate us even more, now. )
I already d/l it! :) I'll play around with it later
