Morning. Day 6 of no sleep, and got a project thrown on me at work yesterday. This should be interesting.... but at least last night though i couldnt really sleep there were no nightmares!!!

My dad's birthday is a few weeks after the anniversary of his death. We commemorate both.

Tink, glad there were no nightmares. Hopefully, whatever is keeping you awake will work itself out. I took something to sleep, and was still up a good 9 times last night, so I really do sympathize.

Off to see Parade tonight. It has gotten very good reviews here. Between August:Osage two weeks ago, and Parade tonight, I almost feel like I belong on a theater board.

MT - you must see a doctor about your sleeping issues!

My niece has the H1N1 flu, she is usually healthy, and no major problems at this time.

My sister's second round of chemo is uneventful thus far. The awful lows of the last 10 weeks are hopefully over! She still has a very serious cancer, but at least for now she can somewhat function on a daily basis.

It was pretty fabulous, actually, and although not without its glitches, we basically made our budget - incredible in this economy. But it stretched the staff almost to the breaking point. One casualty already - our incredible director of development, who basically put the whole thing together from an interesting but nebulous idea, resigned yesterday. I'm heartbroken, because we really work well together, and she's brilliant.

And the Junes were FABULOUS - every single one of them were just terrific. And I'm in love with Lane Bradbury. She is enchanting. There's no other word to describe her, simply enchanting.

MT, I am glad that you slept. I have been sleeping better lately, I am just accepting the stress and not worrying about the firm, money, etc in the middle of the night!

Good news here is that I have been preparing for my move to a corner office! Great views and much more room, a small reward after 19 years!
