The crowd is roaring!

I will post pictures when I can, but, right now I feel very spoiled with a perfect view of Battery Park, Broadway and City Hall from various corners of the office!

The crowd is HUGE! And the sun is shining and it's beautiful out.

A great day for a parade!

Crap. I can't find a couple receipts to finish a month end report. I don't know if they weren't given to me or I misplaced them. I always put them in the same folder when I get them, so I'm hoping it's not me. Crap.

Trust me, unless you were where Addy was, it wasn't worth it. They pretty much blocked off everything and wasn't letting anyone get anywhere. It was a mob scene of a lot of really annoyed angry fans not being able to do anything than pointlessly circle blocks just to be turned in another pointless direction. Only one street were you able to go down and it was a mob. We tried to fight our way through, but gave up. We were pretty close to the front but you still wouldn't have been able to see anything. People were really pissy and pushy, which made people more pissy. We finally decided to turn around and fight our way out before it got worse. In the process, my friend and i got seperated which was ok because we knew where to meet. well through the mob i was battling through a fight broke out between a few guys with my so luckily between them. I got punched in the stomach (which I guess was meant for someone else),, etc. etc. Never a dull moment. Still glad I went. We ended up just going to a diner and 90% of the cops were like "you are the smartest ones here".

Lots of Yankee pride, and damn, Yankees have some of the most attractive fans!!!!!

Tink, from my vantage point, it looked like an unbelievable mob scene! From Broadway to Church street, it was just a solid pack of people.

The crowd enthusiasm was amazing, but, I can only imagine what a scene it was on the street. Crowds don't usually bring out the best in people.

Every single block was just a solid wall of people! But, all there for the Yankees, so all good!

I just went out to grab something for lunch, and the paper on Broadway is ankle-deep in some places. What a party!

I'm sorry you didn't have a better view, but still really happy you could enjoy the enthusiasm!

YWIW, I'm sorry you don't feel well.
Girly, you just reminded me I have to do an expense report.
Mostly, though, I'd like to go home for a nap!

I am SO close to transferring and starting over fresh in a whole new school at this point. I can't take this life I'm living here anymore. Its too ridiculous.

I haven't looked at other schools yet, Deet, but the German program here sucks, I hate my suite and suite mates, the English program really isn't impressing me, and the administration is terrible. Do you know how many paychecks of mine have gone missing, or how many hours they've shorted me? Mom thinks they're stealing federal funds and that I'm feeling the sting. I'm not sure about that, but I'm really fed up this year.

I know. The thing is, I've gotten so much scholarship money here, and I'm not sure I can ever match that anywhere else. I've just been so miserable.
