If I had been distracted by something like that wandering around school, I'd have flunked out!

Happy Friday!
D2, I agree with you! DGG, is this your second year? Transferring may be a great risk.

Yes it is, Brdy. Why do you say that? I think it'd be a lot easier to get into a school now, with my grades.

Its meen 20 years since I was in college, but there might be a risk of losing credits, scholarships etc. I would just make sure that the stressors are unique to your current school. Does your school offer counseling? I found it useful in college the first year dealing with the pressure of the frosh year, etc. (I could use it now for wacky 16 and 14 year old daughter.) Regardless, me basic cyper impression is that you are very intelligent and will make the wise choice.

I went to counseling a lot last year, and didn't find it helpful. I hate quitting anything, I don't even drop classes. I just wait it out. I'm hoping I won't have to leave, but I'm just having a pretty miserable time so far. Thank you for talking to me about it, though!

Big issues to consider, DGG. But, I am sure you will make the right decision. You are a very wise young woman! Sending you good thoughts.
I am craving chocolate chip cookies. I wonder if there is a place that will deliver?
Hi to Hep!!

I just watched the "Dance of the Hours" segment from FANTASIA. I don't care what mood I'm in, no matter how many times I've seen it (and I've seen it a LOT!) I ALWAYS end up howling with laughter. Every. Single. Time.

So, I think they are going to let me return the 8GB iTouch and pay the difference for a 32 GB one. It really does help to do the vast majority of the contracts (including the Apple EPP program) and have some contacts.
Now back to bed to fight my ebola. I hope the rest of the Adults have a wonderful weekend. Shira, Q, my apologies.

Well, I figure better to suffer my ebola in solace rather than share it with people I actually like. Though, I did go into to work for most of the day (whatever that means).
Nighty night.

I just walked in the door to a MSNBC report about health insurance which led my boss to tell me that he was probably not going to renew my health insurance in January because I am not going to be here a full year. (He didn't think he could get a partial year policy. You can drop your coverage at any time, right?) He then announced that it was too expensive anyway and would probably go up even more in January. Then he said he would have to talk to his insurance guy. SERIOUSLY?!!
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

That is odd JG - I would think he could pay quarterly or monthly.
Why don't you talk to the insurance guy!
