Morning, Deet!
I just realized that I have Monday off. Suddenly the week looks a lot better!
Well, our boy isn't mentioned, but there's a fine review in The Telegraph today:
The Commitments
Morning peeps!
Moony,I have Monday off too. Not because of the holiday though. My brother decided that Sunday would be a good day to get married. I guess they thought it was a National holiday on Monday. I had to lose a vacation day for this. Damn siblings!

Sunday? Odd day for a wedding, unless you're Jewish.
Still waiting on that lottery winning.
Cheaper to get married on Friday's and Sunday's. At least it used to be.
And that sibling likes 'cheap'.

speculation is my brother might be
Cheap? Or Jewish?
Oh we know he's cheap. He tries to haggle in department stores. I don't go shopping with him any longer. Actually I don't do much with him anymore.
LOL the cheap has no bearing on what his religious beliefs are. He used to hide chocolate from us all the time as kid. Imagine 90 degree weather and he'd hide it under blankets. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. His soon wife to be is Greek (speaks it too), so I guess they're Greek Orthodox. They're getting married on a boat...hopefully no one goes overboard.
I'm surprised he's splurging on any kind of formalities, and not just heading over to the JP's office. If they've kept it up, the boat's pretty nice.

I'm sure he is doing this all for her. So kudos to him for that.

Morning!
I think peeps in the DC area forgot how to drive in the rain. Lots o' spin-outs on the highways today.
Morning peeps! Had rain in Jersey when I left the house, but none in NYC. Nice dry walk to work.
Mornin'
First cold of the season. And I'm all alone - J2 is going to Chicago for a conference.
ETA: Another (mostly) positive notice. Again, no mention of the kid, but you can see him in the pic accompanying the review.

Is that him playing the sax? He's grown
Yep, that's our boy!
On another note, I finally saw war horse on stage last night. I did not expect such an anti-war piece of art. And the stage craft was magnificent. The story itself, somewhat expected twists and turns, but the puppetry, amazing. Bringing art to life in a literal sense. You forgot those horses were not real.
He looks great!!!! Send him my best when you talk with him. Let him know how proud we are of him. I still remember going to meet him and taking him back to your place. His cousin didn't trust us crazy Americans LOL
Talk about a quick meet and greet. They were in and out before we knew it. Linnie, we hardly knew ye!
My phone is in the car. I'm debating whether or not I feel like going out there to get it. I think it will depend on if it's raining, and how hard.
So much to do here. Don't feel like doing a dang thing.
Low tire pressure light came on this morning. Never fails. Always when I'm on the way to work. Why can't the damn thing ever come on, on the weekend?? Stupid weather.

I somewhat stalk him on FB - it is fabulous to see how well he is doing.
And, he has such a nice way about him - there is still so much wonder in his eye when he comments on things.
I have never had the pleasure of meeting him, but am really glad he is pursuing his dreams and capturing them!
