Morning peeps! HC wanted to do some Christmas shopping at Costco last night. So being the good bf I brought him. It seems he bought himself some European cookies, a dress shirt and a box of Tic Tacs. So his gift list never changed.
I on the other hand bought some of the ingredients I need for my vodka sauce and my Christmas ham. I even found an external hard drive there that supports both Windows and MAC...now I can finally move my iTunes onto my new laptop. *fingers crossed* Happy to have escaped that place under $300
Morning.
We have our holiday luncheon tomorrow and then I have my annual holiday party tomorrow night. I was supposed to clean and shop and all last night, but instead took a hot bath and read. oops. but win for me! So tonight I got some crap to do. We are closed XMAS eve, XMAS< NYE & NY. I'm working the other days cause there will only be 5 people here so I will just watch Netflix all day.
We're open on the Eve's too, and the day after the main events. And we don't do anything, luncheon/party wise. It's not a "fun" company, anymore. They do have a Santa on Christmas Eve for folks that want to bring in their kids, but even that event has been downsized over the years. Folks used to love bringing in their families on Christmas Eve. I don't know many that do, anymore. I guess there's a decent amount, or they probably wouldn't even bother having it. Since I no longer work that day, I have no idea.

Mornin'
DONE! Well, I'm finishing grading today, but I don't have to go in to the office for that.
Boobs, we unfortunately follow the stock market as well. And I have gobs of work to finish before the family cruise (start humming the tune from Deliverance now). I really wish it was a Framily cruise!
Saturday is an appointment to try and get my knee working again before the vacation. Shopping done, cards done, now just time to give gifts, relax, and unfortunately work on some last minute, very big contracts.
Ho Ho Harrumph.
The NY Stock Exchange closes at 1 p.m. on the Eve, but if other markets are open then I'm stuck here. New Year's Eve is a full day. Those Wall Street moguls want to trade up until the last possible minute of the year. They need to get those tax deductions up.

I am not sure if I am coming in Eve. I am off 26 and will come in 27 late and 30 late. I usually do not work that week. I have yearend accounting for the firm to finish by 12/31.
Train I was on lost a brace and it hit the third rail - loud pop. "Alighted" the train and waited 1/2 hour for another.
I cannot believe that there are only 6 days before Christmas!

It's Friday and there are donuts for breakfast! Could it get any better? Why, yes, glad you asked. Last day of work for 2013!
Morning peeps! One of the traders brought in bagels. I had a plain with veggie cream cheese.
I just need to survive until noon. Then it's luncheon time. Then party time. Then sleepy time. I'm being un-grinch like and since I refuse to see certain members of my family, I'm going to take my mom and her two best friends to their favorite restaurant on Sunday for dinner. And then drink heavily after, lol. They are both older and my mom never leaves the house so figure it'd be a good time to round them all up.

Ms. Addy is in the house and on your tree! Which is better than under your tree, I guess.
