Yeah, I thought so.
I just saw that the cast of Downton Abbey is on Anderson today. My DVR best not fail me!

G'morning.
Off to brave rush hour traffic to get to Burbank for our rehearsal this morning. So excited/terrified to see what we've got!
Last night we visited our friends in LaCanada; after a rather tumultuous dinner we went to one of the kids' orchestra recital.
Good times.
Cleanup work today, and then tomorrow is the office party. I was kind of responsible for forcing the issue and having a party (one boss thought the staff did not want one - he either innocently or intentionally misinterpreted a comment from one person, and then the rest of the staff came to me and basically said "why no party). I then got in the middle of the intermediate boss who told the big boss "they didn't want one" (when they did) and the big boss, who was surprised when I said "erm, well, I am not sure that is the case."
So, we are having the potluck, and and a white elephant exchange. I hate routinely getting stuck in the middle of those two.
And, one of my favorite admins quit after finding another job, and today is her last day
We are open all next week except Tuesday.
Ho Ho Harrumph.
And Deet - hopefully traffic will begin to be holiday light. So long as you are not in the path of a Costco, Target, Wallmart or shopping mall, you may be OK.

Wow mooney you are brave!
Cold and rainy here with snow forcast! Much fun at press night of Mormon last night. "A list" and many posers.
And Girly, belatedly - very pretty.
Mooney - I hope you bring some "medication"!
I am not sure what I am giving for the White Elephant exchange.
I can either give a Starbucks Coco/Coffee set, a South Park Monopoly game, or a Swiss Army Knife utility key ring set. Not sure which one to do, but leaning towards Starbucks.
Doing my final wrapping tonight of some last minute gifts.

Y, the South Park creators were at the curtain call last night!
I saw the show in LA. I had a blast. Well worth the time and money! And, lucky you Brd!
Moony, that's one of those things that always sounds fabulous to other people, but you really know how much work it is. I get it!
Happy last-day-in-the-office-for-the-year for me! (Note, I didn't say last day of work, but at least I can stay in my pj's if I want to!)
I'm having a bagel for breakfast. Because, if tomorrow is the end of the world - why not?
Have fun at all the parties, events and festivities today and this weekend.

I like the way you think, Addy!
Tomorrow is just an informal "clean up" day here. I'll pop in a day or two next week, but only for a few hours. The administration team is going out to lunch tomorrow, which I don't mind attending since it's judt 6 people who are all good friends of mine. I still have to pick up some office gifts. I'm thinking coffee mugs.

Wish I could get out of the holiday funk! Hosting a party this weekend and NOT looking forward to it!

Maybe you should have some festive cows serving cocoa at your party, Brd. Of course, cows get a little nervous when they get shipped to Chicago...
Hi all. Popped by to wish all the Adults a happy holiday season. We'll be in town so I'm sure to drop by again. Such a strange holiday time this year.
Cheers to all!!
Enjoy, Jose!
Had a nice lunch. LOVE my gift. I "stole" it from someone. I was the only thief in the bunch.
A whole three e-mails came in while I was gone. All junk. I don't know what I was expecting.

So what did you "steal"?
Weird. I didn't have the edit button to add to my post.
I'm laughing at a text I got from my Goddaughter. The PTO at the school she teaches at were selling shirts to raise funds for the Sandy victims in my town, so I had her order one for me. They came in and she texted me that she didn't have time to drop off at my house, she was leaving them at monsters. Which I guess is an autocorrect for mom. I texted her back asking if that was a freudian slip. LOL!!!

I was the third person to get to pick. My gift was the first one chosen, cause Colleen liked the ribbon on it. I stole from Janice. It was this game where pigs are dice, but I didn't really care about that. I was more interested in all the lottery scratch-offs attached to it. Janice tried to talk me out of stealing it, and I probably brought bad luck to me stealing it, but when I saw the other gifts, I knew I made the right choice. I would've probably regifted the other two things, if I had gotten them. This way, I have a chance of winning a couple dollars or not, but I'll have fun scratching them off, and I won't have something else to figure out what to do with.

Good morning, kids. We're still here!
I'm still glad I had ice cream last night.
Happy Friday.
Would it have been too much for Mother Nature to have given us a break this holiday season? This weather and the travel delays are going to cause such disruption.
I'm spending the morning playing elf, and wrapping gifts. Music will be on, and I think there may be something peppermint in my hot chocolate.
Then I have errands, and then heading to CT... think I'll leave extra time.
My drive in was pretty horrific. The roads were covered with blown over trash cans, tree limbs, a mailbox, christmas decorations and one of those canopy covers you put up in your back yard in the summer. Plus it was dark and wet.
And I shall pause at 9:30am this morning.
Remembering the victims of Sandy Hook.
Yikes, Somms. Glad you made it in safely.
The traffic reports have been full or accident reports this morning.
BE CAREFUL, friends!

I think that if you put skim milk and Splenda in your morning coffee, you're totally justified in eating raspberry danish for breakfast.
I totally forgot about the Mayan end of the world thing. I'd be the wrong person to count on in a true catastrophe!

My very intelligent 14 year old son is literally nervous about the Myan thing! Strange! Finals end today!!!!
My bedroom looks like the Tissue Paper Mayan Apocalypse. Zander has spoken.
The world will end in shards of green, red, white and periwinkle tissue paper.
