Ahhhh...the tension!
There should be a comma in there somewhere. You know, so I can agonize for hours whether to take it out or leave it in.
...I'm agonizing for hours over knobs or handles.
And, no, that's not code.
Nice new digs. Happy Chapter 36.
Cheers.
Addy! Knob and handle agony can be fun!
Hep, ironically, just this evening, House Hunters International featured a search for a rental in the Australian rain forest and the first thing out of the man's mouth when entering the kitchen was ... "Ooh, granite benchtops!"
Happy Friday morning, y'all!

Knobs and handles? Oh my!
'Morning! Dark, damp day out there so far. Nice weekend on tap, though. I like to think that the Weather Gods are sad about the Yankee shut out.
G'morning.
Don't worry, Addy, it doesn't hurt. In fact, once you get used to it, it can be kind of fun and possibly addicting.
SoMMS, I saw that last night too!
Morning peeps!
Addy, if I can add my 2 cents here. I LOVED renovating my kitchen, but had many of the questions you do. You have to think of the uses, functionality and easy care for everything you choose. See, I went with knobs because they're easier to clean and keep sanitary. See handles can get gook under them and make it hard to clean. This also makes it easier to spread germs.

You're supposed to clean cabinet knobs and handles? Wow - that was SO not in any kitchen instruction manual that I ever had. Next you'll be telling me that windows need washing.Where will the insanity end?
Don't windows clean themselves?

We must have the same ones.
I knew J2 was lying.
My handles haven't been cleaned in 60 years.
That's why you're always sick.
They have to wash themselves because Windex is for freezers.
Morning.
I'm gonna be napping in the liquor cabinet. I like being social again and all but I don't miss these semi hungover mornings. Being a recluse last year may not have been such a bad thing!
By George, I think she's got it!
Knobs. For sure.
I already knew. But had to go through the agony of looking at every single renovation and decorating website known to man before I agreed wtih myself.
I'm actually still grappling with the layout of the kitchen. With limited space, and trying to add a new appliance (washer/dryer), we're doing alot of drawings to decide which works best - and which I like best. I've decided I need a house with a separate laundry room, but, that's not gonna happen.
Some decisions are easy. Wolf range. Deep sink.
I'm going for the white kitchen/marble countertops. Despite all of the warnings... it's what I want. I'm wavering on the floor. I thought I knew what I wanted and now am re-thinking.
Who wants to spend a day with me at a showroom?
It IS fun. I just want a few days off to really focus on it.
Tink, grab the fun when you can have it!
oh, and Boobs, Deet, Somms, Moony, et al - I welcome ALL of the 2 cents you want to share!
There is a great store here in Peddler's Village ... Knobs and Knockers.
I know it well. And am planning to stop by on my next visit!

Framily road trip!
The Chadds Ford Winery shop is right next door and the candy/chocoate store is just a few doors up.
