Money - are you off next week?
I am looking forward to the stretch run for C17, she has grown weary of high school and is not quite stepping up to the plate!

I have 120 seniors who are weary of high school. Senior slump (and the attitude that goes with it) has hit hard. It was time for a break! Yes, we are off until April 8. I'll make guest appearance a few days next week, though. I have a ton of events coming up after the break and I can't afford to take all of next week off.
Met with BritTwit this afternoon. He acted like nothing at all happened and wants to work on a film treatment for one of our properties. I told him I wasn't interested and he left with "you'll think about it and get back to me."
Once a sociopath, always a sociopath.
Greetings wonderful adults! Miss you all terribly!
Finally opened the show for a second time in two weeks. I'm exhausted to say the least.
Excited we get to meet the playwright for the next show on Saturday. He's in Seattle doing a workshop at another theatre and is having breakfast with us. I'm a little nervous!
Happy Easter to all who celebrate.
Happy Friday to all who don't.
Hands on a Hardbody is enjoyable and different. Not at all what I expected. Terrific performers, imaginative choreography, songs are good. There is much to admire and it can only be good for Broadway to have this innovative show around. I hope audiences don't stay away.
Time for breakfast. Have a good weekend all!
G'morning.
Ditto Jose.
And in the "let's beat a dead horse" department: I'm glad I saw BritTwit yesterday, if only because it finally gave me a sense of closure about the whole thing. Such a sad, sad man.
Good morning, kids. It was so nice to sleep in this morning. Now, off to go buy new toilet seats. Such an exciting life I'm living.

SOMMS, that is literally one of the items on my list that I did not complete this week and I have a hardware store 100 feet from my front porch!
Happy Friday indeed!!!!
We had 6 stinky weird frosh boys, some high school seniors and 5 college freshman at home last night - good times!
Off to the DMV, then back to the mechanic, then laptop shopping (sorry guys, the Mac does not have the features I want, if I am going to pay 3X the price, it should have what I want) and then starting my Taxes.
My magic bed/desk had some holes mis-drilled, and because the thing weights about 1000 pounds, I really did not want a second set of bracing holes drilled into the frame (I have no idea if it would void the warranty or compromise the integrity to have 3 additional holes drilled 1 inch apart from the ones already there).
So, I have pieces of it in my guest room, all the guest room furniture in my living room, and chaos in casa YWiW for another week or so.
Happy Peeps Indulgence Weekend all.

Morning peeps! I hope everyone had a great weekend! As always they fly by, even with that extra day. I had a lovely day in the City yesterday. Drove in and out without a stitch of traffic. I love those days! Saw my Ozzie friend and John Tartaglia give brilliant performances is "Art & Science". I believe it was the smallest theatre space I've ever been in. It was on 54th street on the 12th floor of a building next to Studio 54. There was literally 2 rows of chairs and that was it. The play, written by James Wesley and directed by Antoinette DiPietropolo was quite funny and moving. Although yesterday was the final performance I am hoping they will develope it more and continue to show case it. It truly tugs at the heart strings, especially since my vocal coach ( many years ago) was a Christian Scientist. Oh yea and I finally got to meet Nick Adams who was at this performance. He is very sweet. What a smile!
G'morming.

'Morning! How excited am I that it's Major League baseball's opening day? Pretty damn excited! Spending the afternoon in section 113 of Nationals Park, soaking up the sights and sounds (a win would be nice, too).
Weekend was nice, despite a broken water pipe in an upstairs bathroom that derailed plans on Friday. I went to turn off the water to the gushing pipe and the valve came right off in my hand! Then I ran down to the basement to turn off the water to the house and that valve wouldn't turn at all. Thank God the plumber was near in town and came to the rescue within 20 minutes. While cleaning up the soggy mess, it occered to me that a broken pipe would be a nice problem for many people in the world to have - it would mean they had indoor pumbing. Amen.
Oh - and I had a chocolate bunny. HAD.

You just might do that - lots of horrible diseases in third world countries without running water!
Moony, we had dinner at a friend's house yesterday -- someone brought a fabulous dessert that made me think of you: a delicious disk of chocolate, perfectly round and about an inch thick. Inside was an Oreo. I tried to save one for you, but, well, you know...

You need to remind Max that chocolate is not good for dogs!
He's a fast one, alright. But he wasn't fast enough last night, and I had to, ya know, save him from himself, right?
Morning Adults - had an busy extended weekend as well.
I will have a disassembled magic bed/desk in my guest room for a couple of weeks while they make a replacement piece for the one that was drilled incorrectly. So my guest room is in my living room, and Zander has new thrones to ascend.
Yesterday I sent to a good friend's joint easter/delayed BD party for her twins boys (who are now 3.5 - their birthday is right between Christmas and New Years, so they celebrate it at Easter). Her family is huge and amazing and just joyous (our is small and mine, and a little more neurotic).
Bounce house, Easter bunny, egg hunt, pinatas... what a blast.
