Zander found a beetle as a play toy last night. I guess I should be happy that he found it. He play toy was quickly removed as a play date.

BTW - I read your post as saying her dress was bearded at first, and had a moment of great confusion.

I have not officially published anything legal since my law review article was published - though I doubt anyone today would really care about how the courts and commerce clause allows unrecognized foreign governments to pursue business claims/litigation in US Courts.

Boobs, I hope the new digs are OK, and the commute not too bad. On the upside, maybe a few more playdates in the city?

I think there is a real chance I may end up working remotely in the next year or two - one of the reasons I got the magic bed/desk.

YWIW, I just saw my new boss. He usually works out of this office on Fridays. Funny that he doesn't seem to know exactly what I'll doing. He's hoping they have my computer up and running by then. Monday should be a fun day!

This week includes finalizing things with the apartment, rehearsal, packing to move, my concert on Tuesday at Carnegie (yay!), moving, a client meeting the morning after I move, coordinating a rug delivery, coordinating having window-treatments reinstalled, coordinating an appointment with the cable guy, and then trying to unpack at some point... Next week it's back to Chicago. And then the Upfront insanity. See you in August.

I was just thinking that, Tink - Addy needs to sub-contact her life.

'Morning! Prom went well, as far as the students were concerned. I had A LOT of problems with the management/staff of the venue so we will never be using them again. Post Prom Party went so well that kids didn't want to leave when it ended at 2:00am. I got to bed @ 3:45am and was widw awake @ 6:30am. I think I'm physically incapable of sleeping past dawn.

I am exhausted reading Addy's todo list.

So on a more rare mushy note -
This week marked the 6th anniverary of my step father's suicide, and in weird timing, the suicide of one of My closest friend’s young cousins. He had been battling with depression for the 5 years I’ve known her, and we thought he was actually in a good place, but did not seem to be the case. She asked me to get together late last night as an escape for a bit (god bless big Italian families for the fact of a huge support system, but on other end, you can’t get a moment when someone isn’t around!). While we were out and she was talking she asked how I got through it (I met her a few months after) and besides some other things, I said that it was also via a huge support system I found on-line. I had not met anyone physically yet but the outreach and love was unexplainable and really was key for me over the next few months.

So, had to share, since it was you peoples, and I guess I never express enough how much you really helped me!

Ok, end of mushy rant. Back to grumpy cat like status.
