No sunburn here - only frostbite! -7 tomorrow morning with incredible wind chills. I prefer that the high schoolers have the day off as most have to travel many miles to the school.

Back to the grind after a nice weekend out west with C19 and my sisters and one of my brothers. The nephews and nieces are such fun!

Y - stayed near CR for a night. Also saw 4 american eagles on this trip!

Very funny! The bald eagles are thriving in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. I am a nerd and love to see the majesty of the birds!

No! Are you off today? No school. -8 this morning. But, had easy commute - bus and train arrived in minutes!

Partner's wife is having a lump removed today! And, the old man might lose a kidney next week to carcinoma. And, my court reporter had double mastectomy this week!

two hour late start to schools around the region today. Not sure the 5 degrees it is now is much better than the 2 degrees it was earlier, so I'm not sure what a late start gained us. I've got 3 layers of clothes on. I look like the Michelin Tire Man.

Below zero today for hopefully the last time of the season! March is upon us!

Overall - Oscars = boring. Opening number fantastic, NPH lackluster. The diaper bit - a bit too much. Lady Gaga - awesome! Too long as usual.
