I don't give a damn who thinks I'm a 'wuss' (where DID that term come from, anyway?) It's not as it should be here, and I am sick and tired of the cold and wet! People that CHOOSE to deal with this kind of crap can have it. I don't, and don't expect to have to deal with it.

Conversely, when it's August, and some people are sweltering away in their humid, over-heated environs, I'll be just as understanding and sympathetic to their plight

Frankly, I think we need to pool our resources, and establich a commune on Malta. Apparently, it has what most experts agree is the 'best climate on Earth'.

It's right in the heart of the Med, so we have easy access to things like the Amalfi Coast, the Riv, Paris, Vienna, and . . . well, you get the idea.

Just for the record, I think a commune rule should be that no one under the age of 40 gets full rights and priveleges unless we allow it.

Which I don't think we ever should.

Good morning.

My boss lost her mother last night. She has been in a nursing home and on the verge for a while, so while it is very sad, it is kind of a relief for my boss. I was out at a bar she bartended at last night when she got the call. She was the first one I saw after I got the call about Chris. It's kind of funny how connections run between people!
