I like the new thread, so organized and tidy!

Crappy Monday, not really, my hearing was continued which is a good thing!

We saw The Merry Widow at the Lyric Opera, zzzzzzzzz. BORING, what a stupid story. I had seen it before, but did not recall the stupidity and lack of melody in the score! We still had a very nice evening, our first real "date night" in months!

You don't have to do that - operetta isn't everyone's cup of tea, so to speak, Brd.

I've just never heard anyone refer to that score as lacking melody and it took me by surprise, that's all.

But what do I know? I "disliked intensely" a performance by someone's BFF that most people have come to regard as "definitive."

Just what every parent wants to read...

BELLEVILLE (WABC) -- Four high school students in New Jersey have been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats.

Authorities say the four students, who attend Belleville High School, were talking about blowing up the school over the Internet. The school was evacuated.

The four students are being held at the Belleville police department and are also charged with creating a false public alarm.

The mother of one student told Eyewitness News that her daughter read on Facebook that the four boys were posting they were going to blow up the school.




Parents are apparently being told it was a prank.


My son is home safely, thank God. He said all they know is that they told them to grab their belongings and go home.
