Morning. Happy Rainy Friday!

Hey D2, if you dont mind me asking, would you mind including some Boston Creme Donuts? They are my fav. Even if 5 out of 7 days of the week they will be a red X for me.

So, a kid I haven't seen in like 14 years found me on facebook (my dad's best friend's son, I pretty much was raised with my whole childhood until his dad died of brain cancer early). So he sends me a message of the normal how have you been/blah blah but then puts "Wow, can't believe it. I can say this because I've known you since birth but growing up you were definitely the ugly duckling, but wow you are just stunning now!". I don't know whether to be flattered or offended, lol.

So, my girl booked her flight for June AND her flight for December! WOOT! I am a very happy girl!

And, I'm going to beg the bosses to let me sneak away for a little while in September.

haha, wow, pinky actually looking for me to date....weird. Lol, i have no idea, i havent clicked on his profile but I'm not expecting much and yeah, I try to stay away from anyone I have a past of any kind with, lol.

I have actually sorta kinda met someone but my laziness and anti-social ways are stopping it. Very nice guy. Army veteran, served in Iraq, tall, cute, tattoed, well read, steady job, etc. He has asked me on a date twice now and I have said no (granted, I was actually busy both days he asked about, but I could've said but what about xx day, and i didnt). I have several people yelling at me to get my act together, lol.

Morning peeps! Busy morning for Boobs...dropped the little girl at the vet. She was so scared...shaking and all, but I calmed her and she was fine by the time I left her. I almost snatched her out of the technicians arm and ran out with her, but thought better of it. I know this is for the best.

Tinky, think of your friends, perhaps this kid from your past turned out to be gay. You know there is this middle-aged, kind of handsome guy you know that is single. Click on his damn profile. Plus he needs a spanking for saying you were the ugly duckling...how dare he!

LOL! Of course, you did!

All is well in the Sunshine State.

I didn't say anything earlier, because, well, I just didn't, but Mama Shamey had surgery yesterday. She's recovering nicely and will be released today around noon. Now, we just wait for her test results to come back normal and she'll be in the clear. If you're the praying kind, I'd appreciate you saying one for that. Thanks!

Poor Joop. I remember when we sent Buddy to be de-clawed and he had to stay overnight, Chris and I were so sad. I even stopped by the vet later that night just to visit with him (I used to work there in HS so I had some pull). Love for animals does crazy things to you!

Many, many good thoughts for Mama Shameys!! She needs to get in good shape so we can drink next time I come down!! :)
