I nearly had a heart attack this morning. I had a conference call with the President of our parent operating division this morning (along with the CFO and General Counsel) at 8 AM. I got to the office in time (coming in at 8 takes more time than getting in at 9), got to the elevators, and were told that they were broken. Now, I work on the 27th floor, and there is not way I could have gotten up those step without dying!). I did not get to my desk until 8:05.

They were 15 minutes late. I have never been so relieved in my life.

Wheeew.

More like the medication of choice to cause cardiac trouble (though they are relatively low if fat, for what it is worth, and don't have high fructose corn syrup).

That's the good thing about beaches - they tend to avoid putting federal buildings on the sand. Don't you have to fly in to Bangkok, though?

I got a call late last night telling me that I had to be at a 7:00am meeting this morning. I was feeling ornery about it until I remembered that poor Addy had to be on a 6:00am flight to Chicago this morning - after her big concert last night. Poor woman probably got 4 hours of sleep last night.

Couldn't get on any outside websites yesterday. Just read back since I didn't feel like doing it once I got home and settled last night.

Yes Moony, we will be landing in Bangkok on Friday...these demonstrations are set for Saturday. We will be all settled in by then and after a Friday night out I am lucky if I make it to the pool on Saturday.
