Morning peeps! It's fridgid out there today. Brrrrrr.

I made homemade chicken soup the other night that really hit the spot last night. Last night I made, for the first time, split pea soup. I had a ham on the bone from the weekend and thought I'd give this a try. It smells really good, but the true test is tonight when I have a bowl. I love having fresh soup in the house at this time of year. Nothing warms you up better.

BTW Dett, I talked to my friend last night and it looks like as of March 6th he is a man without a show. Nothing further yet about being B'way bound.

I make my official bartneding debut tomorrow. Figured I might as well finally get paid for getting people drunk. Nothing special, just a hole in the wall bar, but after my "practice run" on Wednesday night, I made $20 in 45 minutes...gotta love old men, so it should be worth it.
