Academia is a vicious little world full of petty little egomaniacs. Having been turned down three times for a full time position at my college I understand the rage that professor must have felt. But her actions are inexcusable. She would have been much better off doing what I did: get another full time job and tell them all to go to hell. What did she have to lose anyway?
