I feel awful. I just saw a FB status from someone I used to work with that she lost her husband last night. He was in a horrific accident...it'll be a year ago this Thursday, where a tractor trailer crossed a divider and crashed into his car and another tractor trailer. He hasn't been out of a hospital and/or rehab place since then. I don't think he had much brain function, and whatnot left. The dedication she's shown over the last year, fighting to get him excellent care, plus taking care of their two kids, who are 3 and 6 was such an inspiration to the power of love. Such a loss.

I never met him, but hearing about him and seeing pics, you could see how much his family meant to him.
