"I'm not a horse."
And yet a riding crop comes to mind . . .
What a day it's been. One of my BFFs got a Drama League nom, we've brought in nearly $5,000 in donations for our annual "give us money" campaign, and we have only 209 tickets left for the rest of the run (two full weeks) of ENGAGING SHAW.

Why SOMMS! I don't believe I've ever seen you restrained.
And by that I mean VERBALLY restrained.
Moony, I'm not sure I want to know how you've seen SOMMS restrained other than verbally.
Mornin'
LOL! Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Deet.

On my way to work with the 6'5" 13 year old who likes to break people's noses. Sigh. Say a prayer or light a candle or worship Gaia or whatever you do. Ugh.
Not so secret anymore, Moony.
Will do, Amber. Just keep thinking "soon, soon, soon..."

Amber, jab with your right and guard with your left.
Good luck! It's a very nice nose!
'morning, glories!
JG2 - all good thoughts!
I was just reading some reviews on the main board (!), and, with all respect to those of you who feel differently, you couldn't pay me to see 'American Idiot'. And the fact that there is talk of it winning the Tony?... Ugh!
Give me Lerner & Loewe and Kelli O'Hara and Paolo Szot and... Yeah. I'm old. I fully own that.
Happy Wednesday!
I'm off today. I have my work laptop. (A little bit of work to do today). So, plan to play a bit!
I don't have any real interest in seeing it either, but I'm sure if someone offered me money to go, I would.

I'm taking my coffee and going to sit with Addy in the Tuneful Geezer section. I agree.
They had to call the police on him over the summer. He just doesn't know his strength. He doesn't speak, isn't potty trained, kicks when he's excited. He's the most effected case I have ever seen. He's in a live in situation in Boston, but home for spring break. It looks like they would have made arrangements for this before now. Oh well. I am whoring myself to possible injury because the money is good.
I think I feel even more strongly because I resent that it was the show that displaced 'Finian's Rainbow' from the St. James.
Yes, I know the two situations aren't related, but...
Christopher Fitzgerald was one of the performers at our Chorale Benefit this past Monday night, and we were just charmed again by his fabulous talent. Such a shame he's not still playing the leprechaun.
I still own my geezer status.
And who was that poster who said, "I don't do ancient shows!"? lol I do. I just love musicals. I don't care when they were made.
Stop by Sports Authority and pick up a helmet.
Sorry, I wish I had some actual useful advice. Ok, here's some. Be careful and know when to get the hell out of there.
