Shira, perhaps you should just make arrangements to move in with your therapist. That would solve most of your problems.

Busy day here. Listening/Watching to a continuing education call and playing at the same time.

So far, all is going well in Escrow. Now, we just need to make sure the appraisal is OK and the loan gets funded. Keep your fingers crossed!

BrotherQ is on a train to Canada, where he will begin a 10-day meditation retreat at Sylvan Lake on Friday. No communication of any kind, with either the outside world or any other participants. Right now, that sounds absolutely DIVINE to me!

Lots of field trips this week - we're scouting locations for next fall's gala. It's going to be a Casino Night (yawn) but I've been to some really cool venues so far. And it's nice to be out of the office for hours at a stretch.

I've started nosing around pet adoption sites, just to get an idea of how they work. Still not committed to another fur-person yet, but I'm obviously leaning in that direction.

We can't do it right now, simply because of upcoming travel plans, but this little boy made me try to reach into the screen and snatch him up!!!

May I pet that puppy? I'm not allowed a pet - building rules, not lack of care. I could beg and roll over until my knees bleed, but the rules won't change. So, no fluffy bit of gorgeousness for me. A pat is all.

What an adorable face Q. I think you would be an amazing parent to a beautiful four-legged family member.

Truth be told, I never had a cat until I got my first condo. I grew up with dogs. But, without a yard, and a busy work schedule, I figured I would give cats a try. I guess that worked out OK. Except the fact of course that Zander is now taking the Jesus pose on my screens, claws grasping at whatever they can to keep him perched there like a cartoon character. (He also tries to catch the ball on the flat screen when I am watching certain sports).

Q, get a puppy. I would love to see gushing baby pictures from you!
