Being my air conditioner isn't working I am joining you Moony.
Boobs, I saw the tour out here in LA and loved it. I can only imagine it was that much more fantastic on BW. I do look forward to seeing the PBS Production.
Stay cool and dry East Coasters.
Morning all. Boobs, I'm taking my mom to see South Pacific next weekend. I haven't seen it since it first opened.
Dottie, it is still wonderful. Paulo is back which made me very happy...that man can sing the telephone book to me and I'd melt.

Paulo is a prayer answered.
Boobs - have you seen/heard Stokes version of "This Nearly was Mine" from the Carnegie Hall concert with Reba? I always have to pause the disc afterwards to collect myself - it just sends me completely over the emotional edge!
Q, I have, but now I have to revisit it. Another man who sing anything he'd like to me. I guess all a man needs is a good voice and he's got me. Which reminds me of the t-shirt I wore on 4th of July that my friend Nancy gave me. It reads...
HI! You'll Do.

Italian gay foreplay = Angelo, you awake?
"This Nearly Was Mine" is my favorite R&H song by far. Such a gorgeous piece of music with such poignant lyrics.
We're in London - arrived around 10:00 this morning (GMT) and having a wonderful time already. It is just so special for me to be here with my sister and brother-in-law. They've never been to London before, so just walking around the city today and seeing it fresh through their eyes was a glorious thing. I've never seen my brother-in-law so animated - like an excited, curious little boy on an awfully grand adventure!
And as we walked back into our hotel, the harpist in the lobby was playing "Blue Moon." Another favorite of mine. Both the song, and the lady!

"Angelo, you awake?"
I didn't know that mattered
Glad you're there, safe, and happy, D2!
YAY Deet...glad you arrived safely. London is one of my most favorite cities! Enjoy your time there with the family. *mwah*
BTW got my iPod in my ear listening to "This Nearly was Mine" as I type. I keep hitting "replay"
awww, yay D2!!! Have a splendid time!
Has anyone here had a severe sinus infection? How long does it take to pass? I've been on meds for a few days and there is no improvement. I am more alert and functional than before but the pressure/etc has not budged. Some people say that is normal but figured I'd ask my adults.
Tinky, I am cursed with sinus infections. Once you have one that is out of control it can take up to 2 weeks before you feel fully normal again. I had one that seemed to last a month. When people talked to me it sounded like I was under water....I was going to kill someone because it was so frustrating. Seems these things have to ride out. Take the meds though. It does get better. Doesn't help with this weather change either! I feel like my head is going to explode today!

GASP! The British know my theme song?!? I'm deeply honored.
So glad you've had a nice start to the trip, Deet. Can't wait to hear all the tales!
Tink - I've known sinus infections to last two weeks. I'm not kidding - it takes a long time to fully rid your sinus cavaties of the viral effects. And don't stop the meds once you feel better (and you WILL feel better). Those infections can crop right back up if you don't finish all the meds.
thanks. i do plan on continuing the antibiotics I just need a break. The pressure has not cleared up at all from Sunday to now. I don't know how my neck is still supporting my head! lol. I just need a break. Work has been insanely busy and Dad is going to be here tomm.
Tinky, perhaps you can pick up a netti pot and some saline solution. Try and flush those sinuses....sometimes it will relieve some of the pressure.
Feel better Tink!
Deet, I'm glad you got there safe, and are having a good time with the family thus far!

So sad news - my step mother's mother's health has declined so much she is pretty much in a coma and I don't think she is expected to make it through a couple more days. Whats more sad? That means no Dad visit!

Sorry about that, Tink. But maybe now his visit can be resheduled, and you won't be dealing with the illness.
I'll send you mine, Tink. He needs to get out of the house.
I'm sorry you have to deal with the illness and difficulty.
Tink, a word of advice: politely thank Shira, but decline. If she insists, shoot her.
Morning peeps! Welcome to Friday. I am dragging my a$$ today. Seems the Turkish blend isn't bold enough for me. I need something stronger to keep me up.
