Lovely day today. We took a river cruise to the Thames Barrier, and then back to Greenwich for lunch and a visit to the Observatory. Then back to the hotel, and dinner later tonight. We start the theater-going tomorrow night with I WAS LOOKING AT THE CEILING, an attempt by John Adams at a musical. This one's for J2. Sunday afternoon we're going to see ASPECTS OF LOVE at the Menier (payback for I WAS LOOKING...). Monday night we're all going to see ENRON. E2, my brother-in-law, is keen on seeing it, and since we loved it in New York, we don't mind seeing it again.

And Tink, I'm keeping Step-Gram in my thoughts and prayers.

I love short work weeks. The weekend just kind of jumps out at you.

Off to see "In the Heights" on Sunday. Other than that, it should be a quiet couple of days.

Friend opening a show tonight.
TinMan rehearsal and afternoon wedding tomorrow.
Then 1776 at Musical Theatre West on Sunday with a friend (and another in the cast.

1776 - definitely recommended. Whatever quibbles are worth overlooking for a show that's rarely done, and especially at this level. Strong production.

Just back from "In The Heights". What a fun show. Lots of energy, and some amazing performances.
