I found out about a death in the family over the weekend. My cousin's first wife. Marriage ended badly. I'm going to the funeral, mainly to support my aunt who loved her (I don't know why.) Should be a fun time.

And Girly, come sit by me.

Well, if her head didn't explode, mine soon will. The landlord called this morning because a couple who might want to move in soon wanted to see the duplex between 3 & 6 today. This is a good thing, as we would like to get out of our lease at least a month early. So, I jumped up and started cleaning. I made sure everything was sparkling, including closets and cabinets, anywhere they might want to look. I lit some scented candles just in case there was a kitten smell we can't detect I opened all the doors and windows so the place wouldn't feel stuffy at all (even though the grass was being mowed and I am allergic to cut grass!) I have sat right here, making sure to get nothing that could be seen as clutter out, for three hours. It's now 6pm and they didn't show. Swedes are never late. As I am writing this, the landlord called. The guy couldn't come today and would like to come tomorrow. UGH!!!!!

Ick is right. They would've had to call in the pro cleaners again. I've been downing coffee all morning, wishing I had a little bottle or two of some Blackberry Brandy to spike it with.
