In honor of my last day in Jersey... Enjoy your Jersey diner.
I could go for some bacon and eggs right about now.
So, Amber, would you and the Swede ever consider moving back here if the laws change?
Brace yourselves. They're announcing the Tony nominations. It's going to be a day.
They're done. I watched. Had my volume full blast and could barely hear it.
I don't think there were any surprises. Is the main board exploding?
Morning.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Since I've only seen Memphis and A Little Night Music, I'm not very invested this year.
I don't know, I don't dare go there today. I read about them online as I've never been able to get their live stream to work.
Meh.
I haven't seen any of the nominated....oops. I am always a year behind. But while I may have not seen these performances there are still a few people I am pulling for.
Morning peeps!
JG2, I know you will miss your Jersey diners! I will have 2 eggs over easy with Taylor ham and white toast. Coffee. Large glass of tomato juice and don't forget to bring tabasco too.
Western omelette, wheat toast, and keep the coffee coming!

Stack of blueberry pancakes and unlimited coffee Thanks!
I'll have what Tink's having, although I want lemon with my tomato juice.
I had an omelette, home fries, juice and coffee. Blech. I couldn't even eat half of it. We went to the Rainbow Diner which is the first and last place I ate in Jersey. lol
What's Taylor Ham? And what has Taylor done with his ham to apparently make it so desirable?
Taylor Ham, from Wikipedia:
"Pork roll is a type of sausage-like meat product commonly available in and around New Jersey and Philadelphia. In North Jersey it is usually called Taylor Ham.[1] The product, as it is made today, was developed in 1856[2] by John Taylor of Trenton, New Jersey, though several firms produce their own versions."
It's wonderful, YWIW, and I'm not even from Jersey.
Oh, and SOMMS: See how I set you up for the punch line?
Taylor Ham (pork roll) is totally a New Jersey thing. I live a quarter mile from the state line and never heard of it until I met Boobs.
Deet, I can always rely on you for a good set up.
One of my dad's biggest regrets of moving to FL (obviously the biggest is leaving his darling daughter) was the lack of taylor ham. Whenever he comes up, the first morning we go for our Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese sandwiches!
JG2, I spent many nights/mornings at the Rainbow Diner after hitting the bars in Belmar/Bradley Beach/Seabright with my cousins. I went a summer to Ocean County College to pick up extra credits and lived in Brick (Lake Riviera) with my Aunt and cousins. Good times!!!
Tink, they ship!

Is it odd that your description of Taylor Ham reminds me of my description of Trader Joes 20 years ago (when it still was a SoCal only experience).
I'll have to check and see if the Trader Joe's in Princeton has Taylor Ham.
Tinky, my younger son still gets that sandwich everytime we go out for breakfast. He likes to put Tabasco sauce on it instead of Ketchup...I wonder who he gets his love for spicy food from?
