Today is the day to see if any of my stuff has paid off in the slightest. I got some skinny jeans on and boots (with ankle tightly wrapped to aoid moony's picture) and a sleek shirt.

SOMMS, that interview image. How do you think I get hired?

Good morning everyone. I will definitely NOT be Cinco-De-Mayo-ing, as I learned that one vodka gimlet is really strong last night.

Also, despite a lack of support from some of my family, I will be attending culinary school. So I may need some support from the framily! I love you guys. Thank you for encouraging me (okay, forcing me) to pursue my dreams.

And that's my brain at 6:15 am.

Shira, my very dear friend Stephanie gave up her corporate career in meeting/event planning last year to follow her culinary dream. She owns her own private chef/catering company and is doing VERY well. She is also a finalist in the Sears Chefs Challenge and will be cooking down in Virginia this weekend. She's the first chef in the Washington, DC group (even though she lives in Philly). One of the New York Chefs lives here in Bucks County.
