Hey cuties. It's so good to be in Tennessee, even with the flood waters. I am SO happy to be away from the situation in Jersey. I just want to say thanks to all of you for letting me scream, cry, laugh and vent through the whole thing. You are the best!

We took my mom's 3 year old Shih Tzu, Buzz, to the vet this morning because of swollen glands. They are afraid it might be lymphoma. He has to have surgery in the morning. Please send some positive puppy vibes our way. She's already crushed that I am leaving. She can't stop crying over this. It's horrible.

Early Sunday morning. BrotherQ is riding up with me, as he left his car there on his way to Canada.

I arranged yesterday to meet up with Uncageg while I'm up there. That makes me happy

It only takes about 12-13 hours. There's not much between here and there I like to drive, so it's not a problem at all. The last time I drove up, I stopped off in Salt Lake City for a night to see a certain somebody - I may try to do that again this time.

We're used to driving a lot out here! It's actually one of my great joys about the west - all the 'wide open spaces'. I stop frequently along the way and just drink up the quiet and non-human intrusiveness. It's a lovely change from the congestion of SoCal.
