I know I generally despise happiness or happy people but...... two of my very close friends got engaged last night!!!!!!!!!! :) SOOOOOOOOO happy for them. I've known it was going to happen and it has been killing me, so now that they've made it public, yipeeee!

This morning I gouged the back of my mouth while brushing my teeth. Going for the back molars, turned around, and my sonicare rammed right into an open cabinet door. BAM. Jammed the damn toothbrush so bad in the back of my mouth that it started to bleed.

Now I sound drunk at work because my tongue/mouth is swollen. Methinks I am going to call it an early day and drink a lot of soup.

Ouch ouch ouch.

(But probably good for the diet - trying to find the bright side).

YWIW, you may want to gargle with some Peroxide or salt water. My grandmother always had me add some wine vinegar to my salt water so it didn't taste to bad.

I have not gone to work and gone home from work on the same day in a couple of weeks.
Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

But today was one of those days at work where everything went right. And I actually managed to pull off a win with a negotiation that I didn't really think was possible.

I'd celebrate, but I'm too tired.
And still at work.

But, it's Friday!

TGIF, but my Friday is kinda crappy. The Swede is at a graduation all day. I have pulled my shoulder out of whack. It hurts like a bitch. I made homemade shortbread for when my honey got home last night. It's divine and it's calling to me from the kitchen. Bad, bad shortbread.

Unfortunately not in Jersey, Moony. I would have taken off but I have some events at the end of the month and beginning of July, so I will be off 3 consecutive Sunday's then. Yay for Tivo!
