Girly, when we moved here, I did that with a necklace that belonged to my great-grandmother. It literally took me YEARS to find it, but I did, and I was so happy. More important than the necklace is a note that is in the box from my grandmother to her daughter (my mom) explaining whom the bracelet belonged to. It said, "One day I hope you will give it to your granddaughter." Now I can.

it's really scary when people are calling me up asking for directions to things in NYC. Up until about 7 months ago I was more clueless than the average tourist, lol!

Miss P., I really hope it doesn't take me years! I was supposed to start looking over the winter. I have a feeling it's in my spare room and that room is not air conditioned, so I really don't want to do it now.

Tink, I remember the first time I was on 8th or 7th and a tourist stopped and asked me where something was. I'd only been going into the city for a few months, and I knew exactly where to send them. I was so proud of myself.

Well, it's bedtime for me. Sweet dreams, all!

Hi kids! I have one of those "too much alcohol, not enough water on a humid day" headaches! Booo!

"Radio Golf" - Highly recommend it. Felt a bit disjointed at times, but truly great performances by all, though the guy from 24 was the weakest link.

"Deuce" - Um...not a very good play. I felt that Marian Seldes was very good, given with what she had to work with. Angela Lansbury had slightly better material to work with, hence why she was given the Tony nom.

I'm normally not an Applebee's girl, but it was the middle of the afternoon, I was tired, and I had time to kill. I figured an acceptable (thoughs eriously the burger was good) would be a nice change from the rushed food choices I usually make.
