okay, pay attention as i'm only gonna say this twice.
there's several oranges: west, south, and east. there used to be a north orange but i think someone in east orange (the bad, overipe orange) stoled it years ago.
south orange is ritzy, doncha know and north of both east and west orange. west orange is somewhat nice, but only when comparing it to east orange. east orange is the melanie griffith of the oranges. sure it has all the right parts but they are in the wrong order and look like they've been jacked up one too many times.
the brunswicks are easier as i grew up in a brunswick. there's new, north, south and east. this time west is missing. don't know why, but it's jersey and everyone just goes along with it. what do you want from me? north brunswick is the little india of the brunswicks (i'm just sayin') and is basically new brunswick lite. that means you pay extra for your crack, i believe.
new brunswick is where rutgers is, but i don't recommend leaving the college campus. ever.
east brunswick has the old hostess factory and wonder bread store so will always have a willy wonka wonderland feel to it, despite the fact that it is wall to wall traffic from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. and again from 9:10 p.m. to 3:55 a.m. if you're in the mood for a chain store, "flea market" with actual fleas or a landfill, east brunswick is the brunswick for you.
south brunswick is south of, you guessed it, north brunswick, but only in some places. duh. it's a former farming community that is anything but at this time. you'll know you are in it when you see the big, blue water tower across from the mcdonalds. oh, and another good way to know you're in south brunswick is that all the companies, apartments and businesses use princeton in their name. is that clear? good.
