So there've been others? Do tell!!!
Shames, no argument about AIDA from here. EVER!
Seems we have some closeted AIDA lovers round these parts!

No closet here. I like a couple of "Egyptians" and I freely admit it
Never seen it. My dad LOVES the show. He saw the tour a few years back, and he always talks about it.
I only got to see it 5 times.
I've never seen it in person. I just know how to use google
I LOVE Sherie. She's one of my favorites, but I've only seen her in DRS. I meant that Aida was my first show and I do love it.
As for any other firsts, DD, you'll just have to ask me again over drinks.
aida is the diet vanilla coke of the world. i don't know degrees of wine, et al.
les miserables, huh? i thought that was in cats-ish territory, if not taboo land.
Et al is a wine conisseur too..wow Moderator and wine conisseur...who'd a dunk
I refuse to admit in print how many times I saw AIDA.
TABOO!!!

One of my oldest friends played Aida for a long time, and I always enjoyed the show - and not just because she was in it!
Simone!

DD - I've got a tape of when Simone was on the TODAY show doing a couple of the numbers with the cast - I'll bring that in July She rips "The Gods Love Nubia" UP!!!
Polly, have you ever been to NY?
Be careful, once you start going, it's hard to stop. It's like crack!
Edit: Polly, I was kidding about the crack!
No, I wish. And it's not feasible right now. Actually, unless it's a short trip it's not gonna be feasible for about 4 years.
I understand. I've never taken more than a long weekend. And, I don't have kids.
Well, I actually have two reasons. you are right on the first one, my kids. but i am also going to school full time, for a theatre degree. so until I finish that up, I am pretty much tied to Omaha. Unless we end up moving & I have to transfer, which would be a huge PITA.

"which would be a huge PITA."
It took me a moment to come up with 'pain in the ass' - I initially thought, "What does that have to do with Greek food?"
rofl. i had to ask the first time i saw that on a message board so don't feel bad.
Right now, someone could hit me with a LOL and I wouldn't even notice.
