Polly, my best friend moved to Omaha about two years ago. Small world.

Haha! I was about to click on your avatar and make sure you weren't her. But, she has one little girl and never lived in Georgia.

Unfortunately I haven't had a true "best friend" in a while. Years actually. I just have the time or energy to devote to that kind of relationship... oh who am i kidding... the women around here are much to bitchy. small minded. this place is almost as bad as GA. I miss Denver

Polly - more small world - my sister lives in Denver, and I used to, as well. Lovely city, with lovely people.

we lived there for 10 years. I loved being able to walk down the 16th street mall & not see a single person I knew. So much better than where I grew up or here for that matter. you go to the mall in either location & you run into half of the people who live on your street. Drives me batty

Hi kids. How is everybody doing? I've had a bit of a gruesome week but I'm praying I'm over it now. (Everybody - on you knees. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BOOBS - IT'S TO PRAY!)
Welcome Polly. I don't know when you joined this thread but I welcome you warmly. This is the only one I regularly look in on because of all the sweet, gentle, kind, and innocent boys and girls who come here.
(Robbo - This statement from you is a classic! "east orange is the melanie griffith of the oranges. sure it has all the right parts but they are in the wrong order and look like they've been jacked up one too many times." Someone should add it as their signature line!)

That's my 5 year old Alejandro hugging me. He's a sweetie. I have a bunch of kids but he followed me outside when hubbie was taking the pictures.

I feel like a dope. I never noticed the red/black thing with the names before. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with the amount of time you've been here. I couldn't find anything about it in the notes at the beginning of the chat rooms either. Anybody else out there know?

LOL. I'm not sure Robbo. I've spent the last week in the hospital with diverticulitis. (It hurts like hell!) I was feeling better but right now I feel like I should be back in there. You always feel worse at this time of the day though so I'll just take it easy and look forward to tomorrow.
How are you doing? The brain is obviously working at 100% but I wonder how your back is?

If it's in red, it means you're 'on-line' - however, you can set it to not show that (like I and a few others do.)

That's interesting, DG. I guess that means that every one of us who's name appears in black has set themselves up to not appear online. Definitely the majority, I'd say.
