re: Can The Adults Please Smoke? Freakin' Fifteen

As morbid as it sounds, arlington is my favorite spot in DC that I have visited thus far.

I haven't been to DC since I was in the Girl Scouts. One of these days, I'll get back there.

Why didn't you people tell me to go read the Benanti thread! That thing's moving like wildfire!
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Because I didn't want to admit that I'm still going back to it, Girly. I'm done now, though. They're determined to tar and feather her. What Ever!
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Ah, I missed it. Sorry! I also missed Mamie's talk of phallic symbols. Where the hell am I reading?

This is the same blow up that happened when Josh said something in his bway.com article about fans being mean on message boards. blah!

It's not morbid at all. I make regular visits there. Many times I've stopped off at Costco first and bought huge bunches of flowers. Then I look for the 'forgotten' grave sites. Spanish-American war graves are in an old area that floods regularly. None of those vets have families alive who remember them and visit their graves. So each gets a flower.

Take the guided tour - it's fascinating seeing how many famous folks are now resting there. You see an acre of those matching white headstones - with no single one standing out from the hundreds (thousands) of others. And there - right in the midst of them and looking exactly like the rest - is the gravesite of Lee Marvin. It's just amazing, and peaceful (honestly) and so very, very sad.

Haha, I may have to string Moony and Mamie's posts together for my next signature.

LOL. The Custis-Lee Mansion and the Lee Marvin grave are definitely two different spots.

Btw, DD, I just now got around to doing what I said I'd do hours ago. Very nice, my friend! re: Can The Adults Please Smoke? Freakin' Fifteen

Thanks, Girly. It takes me a while to notice when people change them too.

LOL! Actually, Mamie, I was responding to Tink's post about visiting Arlington. My computer froze and there was a time-warp.

Shamey - leave that sig right where it is.

LOL - I enjoyed the warp!

Got to go now. Have a wonderful evening and weekend all!

Soooooo, miss shameys, we still have to start discussing our afternoon of delight! :) I am so excited. Meeting you (and the rest of the adults) AND having my dad up here that week from FL!!!

OMG! Tink, Papa's gonna have a field day with that Afternoon Delight comment. LOL!

But, yes. Yes we do. All I know, is that I don't want to have too many drinks before the show. I wanna remember it. re: Can The Adults Please Smoke? Freakin' Fifteen

I agree, and I need to make a somewhat good impression on the adults.

I was about to say, if you too start early in the afternoon, you'll both be under the table by the time the rest of us catch up.

I know what Shamey's feet look like sticking up from under a table, but I might have a hard time recognizing you, Tink.

re: Can The Adults Please Smoke? Freakin' Fifteen

It's true. She does.

I'll drink coffee and Tink will drink something that isn't coffee. It's all good.
