As disappointing as the news is, the most important thing is for DG to get himself better and be able to fully enjoy the NW during his visit.

On top of everything else, the one diversion I could have right now is watching Wimbledon, but play keeps getting suspended because of rain!!!

You really need an excuse, DG?

Polly - I don't know, because it was already deleted when I went back to check on it.
It's probably better left alone anyway - there's SURE to be something else close on the heels of that one

I think I'm gonna head to the verizon store and pick a phone. Maybe when I get back I'll be able to do some real w*rk.

Getting new toys also works.
By the way - thanks for the text message. You're very sweet!I didn't turn on my phone until this morning. DG and I are frustrating like that.

Yay! I just talked to my dad. They will be up here in a few weeks, and my step mom wanted to see a show. Now my dad said he will go too! I saw my first ever show with him (Cats) so i'm being like all sentimental, lol. Of course, he will only go if we see Spamalot, but he's going, that's all I care about! :)

Posting an opinion regarding your post and "flaming" you are two very different things. And Namo was right.
Tink - that's great! There are probably several others he'd like if Spamalot isn't available. But at least he's going!

Tink - good for you - and him
Moony - I actually turned mine on the other day, and there was a text message from my sister. I didn't even know I could do them with my phone! And I haven't bothered finding anything else about it, either

I can retrieve them, DG, but not reply. Honest to God, there's just so much you can ask of me.

Ok, seems we are picking a popular date. They want to see a Wed matinee, but Spamalot does not have one. So i asked for their second choice and they said Mary Poppins, who just seem to be sold out for the Weds. they are coming up here. Lord, this is more work than it is worth. lol

The excuse is that DD needs you to help pick out his new phone. No need to explain who DD is or where DD is or why you are so crucial to the process. Just go - it's an emergency.
