I had IV antibiotics for a week before my surgery. It was like taking the dog on an endless walk. In fact, I named my IV Fido.

Morning peeps !!!! Anyone up for a Singaporian breakfast? It actually is very good..although I don't care for the sweet butter they use on their toast.

I was passing by the cafeteria yesterday and they had a sign up for July specials. I glanced at it as I walked by and did a double take. At first I read Breakfast Bunions. EWW! It actually said Breakfast Burritos. Think I should get my eyes checked.

I confess that I'm enjoying seeing the Adam/Anthony ads that are popping up a bit more frequently. Hairspray ads are getting old.

Morning folks!
Actually the stuff in the bowl looks a lot like a bowl of grits with butter. That's the way they serve it as a side dish for breakfast in the south. Personally I love it but if that's what it is, then they've overdone the butter. (And I don't often find myself saying that!)

How is everyone today? Today they started talking about the upcoming COLD SNAP. It's due here on Thursday and I think they're going to have a parade when it comes. They're expecting the temp to drop all the way down to 82. We may all have to take off just so we can go outside and play in it!!!

Well I am a HUGE breakfast person, but whatever that is looks like it's trying to climb up and out of the bowl. I don't like the looks of it and I don't trust it.

When I went home last night the temp was 95. There was a woman sitting in front of me on the bus with a black pantsuit on. She had a long sleeved white blouse on, under a long sleeved jacket. To add insult to injury - she had a green wool scarf on around her neck. It was painful just looking at her!

yeah ya did!

and mamie, it's just as hot here and i'm wearing black pants and a long-sleeved button down dress shirt. mostly because i have poison ivy all over and if i don't see it, i won't think about it, and if i don't think about it, i won't itch, and if i don't itch...

oh, and my coworkers really prefer if i wear pants. found out about that one the hard way.
