You're right, Kansas. I send him a statement every month, and will start adding 1% to the bill on the next one. It's strange... this guy's the reason I started doing freelance work, and he got me the regular work that I now have. I made myself available to him whenever he needed me... but I now feel taken advantage of.

DD - It probably varies by province/state or even country, but do your invoices state that you will charge interest on overdue accounts. Some jurisdictions require that you have payment terms interest etc. printed or stated on invoices/statement before you can start charging it. You may want to check that out before you get to far into the process.

Kansas - you are probably correct. I will most likely let him know this next invoice that unless I get paid, I am going to be forced to start charging him interest. It's really sad it comes to this...

My daughter was 3 weeks late. My mother said it was justice - I had also been 3 weeks late.

Moony - do you sleep alot? I was about a month late - mom was told she'd be nursing by Christmas, and i was born at the end of January - and I'm told that's why I sleep so much.

thank god none of mine were ever late. i'd have murdered my husband by then. the last two i could barely walk. I couldn't even roll over in bed without being in agony with my last.

girly- Lizzie is doing fine at the moment. BUT I have a feeling she will be Lucy to Brian's Linus!
