My guess would be that it takes a LOT of practice. Just like walking in heels or toe shoes

I had some of those back in the day, although not quite as high.
I also had multiple "eggs" on my head at any given time from hitting doorways and chandeliers. 6'8" ain't easy!!!

I once had a blind date that required us riding the subway down to the village. He brought me a flower which was very sweet. Our conversation was very engaging and all was going well until I stood up at our stop -- straight into the overhead luggage rack. I passed out on the floor for a few seconds. Picture me flat on my back with a flower on my chest in a crowded subway.
I make great first impressions and yes, after many more dates I eventually made him an ex.

OMG SOMMS!!! awwwww! And knowing NYC, everyone probably just stepped right over you and continued on their merry way.
My brother is a firefighter, so many times when I was younger I would wake up in the middle of the night to his pager going off. I would wait about 1 minute than hear him thundering down the stairs, a big *Thud* as he whacked his head on the top of wall (know what I mean, the stairs were in middle of room, so the floor stuck out into the stair case a bit) and then the *boom, boom, boom* of him falling down the rest of the stairs. Give it about 30 seconds for him to come to his senses, and then out the door. And this happened time and time again.

I am taking orders folks! So let me know! DD the colors of choice (at the show at least) are pink and white banded, and purple. Yarn is yarn and I do have a stash that needs small projects.

i know, DD, I so wish that was happening on the east coast. In the past two weeks I have listened to most of the published versions of Chess (Actors Fund, OBC, Concert in Sweden, danish Cast, etc.) and I am SOOOO in love with that damn show. Except that whoever was The American in the OBC, what in the hell were they thinking? lol. Adam should be the only one allowed to play that part forever!

Just wanted to say hello - Sorry I missed the late night bunch last night - I just couldn't stay awake. Today and tomorrow are going to be a little busy as I am having a party tomorrow so I have to do some cleaning. I wish you all could come. There's going to be good eats and drinks, hopefully, if I can tear myself away from BWW for awhile. Beautiful day here in Michigan again!

Sorry guys..got caught up with work. Now Moony..he has to do more than walk in those shoes..he has to dance on a bar with them..plus they have metal head pieces on that have pom-poms in them that are removed to dance with. He told me the understudies put the head pieces on and usually wobble trying to stay up because they're so heavy..poor guys what they have to go through to be women..hee hee.
Now the ping pong number is hysterical...little Asian woman singing "Pop Musik" accent and all...most of the cast is in front of her while she's on the bar and so she's blocked and someone I think is throwing the balls from under the bar...plus they have machines on either side of the audience just flinging them into the audience....they must go through thousands of balls a week. Too damn funny !!!
