Goodmorning early risers
Speaking of Jersey Boys, Boobs & Girly, are you going to Broadway Bares to see Daniel. Wish I could!
Harris, did the cows see Legally Blonde perform on the Today Show yesterday?

Hey Kids!
Addict, I want to go to Broadway Bares, someday. It looks insane.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

I'm in. Of course, the men will outnumber the women 20 to 1, but whatever!

Hi Kansas..slow days are good
Boobs - I hear ya about getting things done. That's what I'm supposed to be doing right now! I'm leaving Sunday for a week up north with daughters and grandkids. Before that though I have cousins coming from Ohio to go to another cousin's son's wedding. So I need to clean!!! We'll plan for next year at Broadway Bares.

The men to women ratio is 20 to 1? And this is a BAD thing?
Hi all! Cool, cloudy day in the nation's capital. Good day to get paperwork done.

Good morning everybody. More happy puppies:
I think they smell breakfast. Did anybody else get caught in that storm last night? I had an umbrella and I was still completely soaked. I don't think I've dried out completely since! It was definitely a cocoa and bubble bath evening for me.

Hi mamie!
I left work early and made it to the house just as the first drops were falling. The wind was really howling! Hubby got caught on Conn Ave, though. Since we both cut through Rock Creek Parkway to get home, I was anxious to avoid that area in a bad storm. Falling trees, you know.

Yeah - I had about a 2 block walk home but by then I was completely soaked. SO - my handy lightning rod (umbrella) came down. I was also surrounded by tall trees and I didn't think I could move that fast anymore!

Moony, the 20 to 1 thing is only bad because very few, if any, of them will be paying attention to us.
Morning, all!

Soooo......for my mom's birthday I'm thinking of giving her a trip to NYC (I just HAVE to accompany her, of course. I'm generous like that). She has always wanted to see New York and she is getting more frail each yaer so if I delay too long, it will only be more difficult for her to travel.
She walks with a cane now, but should be using a walker. The idea of her trying to navigate NYC sidewalks with uneven pavement and jostling crowds makes me hesitate doing this. I suppose we could take taxis everywhere and there are handicap accessible hotels, but I'm wondering just how accessible the rest of NYC really is. Can't seem to find any info on the internet. Any ideas? I'd really like to fulfill this dream of hers.

Unless she's really opposed to the idea, the first thing I would do is rent her a wheelchair.
