Boobs, we'll play when you get back!
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.

Now, I'm not at all complaining, but does it strike anyone else as odd that they post those Broadway Bares backstage pictures for all to see and yet delete avatars that show far less skin.
Again, not complaining about the Bares pictures at all.

All of them Boobs - I remember all of them. And you're right - we really did live in those days. Sometimes when things get really bad, all I have to do is shut my eyes and remember and everything is suddenly all right.
....Daniel Boone hats, Dads and uncles turning the crank on the ice cream maker in the back yard, grasshopper jumping contests, summer vacation from school - wake up, eat breakfast (from a box with a contest on the back or a miniature boat or submarine inside), run outside and STAY outside until you heard your mother calling for lunch. Sandwiches and milk and then running outside again and staying out until you heard her call for dinner. Dad was home so it was back inside, wash up, and then dinner - home made and served to the whole family. Those days outside were spent on your bike exploring the neighborhood, finding friends, looking for treasures dropped in the gutters, playing softball in the street. Looking for the regular neighborhood visitors - the ice cream man, the man with the ponies giving $.25 rides, and the best - the Bookmobile! Nights on the front porch with your sister, looking at the Sears Roebuck catalog page by page and picking your favorite item from each page - as if you were rich! (You were - but you didn't know it.) Parties in the basement with 30-40 relatives and friends that always ended up with group singing old songs. Beer in bottles chilling in the trash can with lots of ice (cooler? What was a cooler?), sliced ham on the buffet that someone had actually baked. Going shopping with mom! That was a MAJOR event. You dressed up in your best Church-going dress and your Mom was dressed in her best shirtwaist dress, with matching hat. No malls - (they hadn't invented them yet) you were dressed up to go DOWNTOWN! The big stores were gigantic buildings with 12 or more floors. And if you really behaved yourself, you got to go to lunch in their restaurant! Tables were set with linen and a waitress took your order and then served you a hot meal on real dishes with silverware.
There's a thousand more memories where these came from. And I get to pull them back whenever I need them. I really am rich!
A click for life.

We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way . . ."

The toy I most remember as a kid Billy Blast Off - somehow the name seems 'different' now.
As for songs "Deep Purple" by Nino Tempo & April Stevens
