howdy all wow what a weekend


fri night-went see the tour of spelling bee in orlando,and due to bad weather we were late leaving home, we got to the theater at 7:56, LOVED the show can see why L loves it, stage doored met all the cast, whom were all very sweet and chatty.


sat- saw grindhouse in the afternoon and loved that , and this evening went to see the brevard orchestra who had a guest star one of my favs the lovely REBECCA LUKER who was very cool to meet .

We watched SHORTBUS this evening. We are obviously too old, not intelligent enough or something - we just didn't 'get it'. Oh well, not the first time, and I'm sure not the last.

But we DID have a fabulous evening out with friends we hadn't seen in too long, so that's always a good thing

Last night the wife and I had a splendid night as well. We went out to dinner at a rather ritzy kind of place, then proceded to the University of Akron to see "Irving Berlin: A Life in Song". The show was splendiferous, the female singer was incredible, the others were mediocre. All in all it was highly enjoyable. Then we came home, grabbed a bag of doritos and watched "A Beautiful Mind" before bed.


P.S. I wasn't trying to re-enact "Titanic", I'm hydrophobic and nearly passed out at the railing.
