DG, there are a few areas which are really having trouble with lack of rain. My parents told me that the part of Florida where they spend the winter had some rain in early January, but none the rest of the winter, so are facing serious water restrictions.
I have a bit of laundry to do myself. And I should make lunch. I'm craving a ham sandwich...
