Gah. My grades suck this semester and I have finals coming up. I have plenty of time to study, but I'm REALLY SCARED!!

Study your a$$ off, Emcee - then you can just take the exams and know you did all you could do. You'll have a nice long holiday break (I hope) and you can relax then!

Okay, venting...
Oh man, I vented really well on my LJ, but I can't post it here...too many words to *.
I had four finals this semester, plus a paper that was due right before finals started. One of the finals was organic chem. Now I don't know if any of you have taken it and can commisserate, but it's f***ing hard. Anyway, I took that exam Wednesday morning, then my acting final Wed. afternoon. I took my French final this morning and I have my religion final tomorrow afternoon. You may ask why, if we have a two-week finals period, mine all fall within three days. Good question.
Off to study. Speaking of which, I really shouldn't be posting tonight, but a gentle reminder to get the f*** off BWW and study wouldn't be out of line if I am.

i talked about how much i had to do last week... well here's the progress:
that one lit unit on canada... freakin pain in the butt. i worked on only that when i was not at work with many late nights until it was due on tuesday... which i spent all day monday finishing up until 4:30 in the morning, so i only got an hour of sleep... and i didnt procrastinate!
the lesson i taught yesterday went VERY well... going in tomorrow to get the work the kids are turning in from it
tonight i've got a bunch of reading logs to complete (reading educational journals and summarizing and what not) which are soooooo boring, a journal reflection for another class, creating a phonics lesson, finishing up another project that goes with it, writing 3 full lesson plans for a social studies unit, writing a self evaluation of my student teaching, and another short paper on reasons for different teaching methods... and i consider this a light evening!

Oh, and just to add to the stress, I leave here in two days, go to a friends in Jersey for a few days (so I can catch Easter Rising in the city on the 21st), fly home (to Montana), then fly directly to Africa for a month. So not only do I have to pack to go home, but I have to figure out what I need for Africa, 'cause I won't be here in between. And I only can have two bags of stuff to take home. But I can't think about that right now. Back to religion...

Yeah, general chem is bad enough, but orgo is hell. But I'm really good at drawing hexagons right now. Too bad I can't make them react correctly with anything. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! Oh well, done with that final, not thinking about it.
