When LS was little, he thought that Santa Claus's name was "Ho Ho" because that's what he always heard whenever people pointed him out. It was so cute, we all started calling Santa "Ho Ho." (LS was too little to even SAY "Santa Claus.")
So when we took him to Radio City for the Xmas Show, he went berserk. Reindeer flying, toys coming to life, the Rockettes as Toy Soldiers, Ice Skaters, All the "fantasy" of Christmas.
Then Act II comes along and it's all somber and reserved. The passage from the bible is being recited and the holy family sits atop a little mountain bathed in starlight as men and animals come to praise the son of god.
LS turns to me and says, "I don't like this!"
Me: "Just wait! You're going to see a real, live donkey come out in a second."
LS: "I don't want to see that!"
Me: "You're even going to see the baby Jesus."
He then stands up and says (in his "outside voice"):
"I don't want to see the baby Jesus. I want to see HO HO!!! Where's HO HO???"
"Be on your guard! Jerks on the loose!"
