Yes, she was very good in that piece of crap movie.
Me too, Moony! That was hilarious!
Wow ... Amy Adams trashing ... *leaves weeping*
DD, get your butt back here. We're not bashing. We're just not worshipping at her feet.
*sigh* Fine.
I thought she was fantastic. I thought everyone and everything about the movie was great. Loved it. And yes, shamey, I can't believe the didn't have Idina sing.
See! DD gets me!
I actually had no idea she was in the movie, and I totally hit jS the minute I saw her.
I knew she was in it and I'd heard it wasn't a big part, but she SO could've had a freakin' song.
I think that they just didn't want to her outshine Adams, which is understandable, but hurts me just the same.

I understand she sang the title song with Marsden, but it was cut. Who cuts a title song?
AH HA! See above post.
Okay, I'm letting it go now, I promise.
Wow, I never post on this thread, but here goes. I saw the movie Saturday night and I thought there was absolutely no chemistry between Idina and Patrick Dempsey.
It's strange because I thought Idina sang one of the songs (not sure if it was during the credits or in the movie). I'm one of the few who just doesn't get her. She has a unique sounding voice; just not to my liking.
Dottie, you are no longer welcome here!!! You know I'm just kidding.
I agree that there wasn't any chemistry there, but they didn't give them much to work with either. She gets to play the jealous girlfriend for what, 3 short scenes?
So I should see this movie?
For the longest time I didn't know that was Jodi Benson as the assistant. But I recognized Judy Kuhn immediately.
How could you not recognize Jodi Benson? She has the same hairstyle she's had for 20 years!
I was ashamed to have not recognized Kuhn.
I didn't recognize either one. I'm terrible.
Mom, it's worth seeing in a theater.

Mom - yes, you'll enjoy it.
I figured the reason there was no chemistry was that you supposed to know that the two weren't really meant for each other. (not that there was much chemistry between her and the prince, either)
LOL. I kept thinking that she looked familiar, but I couldn't place her face. She kind of reminded me of Stephanie Block (emphasis on kind of).
I honestly didn't see any chemistry with anyone anywhere in that movie. But I agree with Moony - I think Idina and Dempsey weren't supposed to have any chemistry.
I did not recognize any of those people either, mostly because I have no idea what they look like.
Mom ... see it. It's so much fun.
You know, I agree with Rath. There wasn't much chemistry anywhere. Except for Adams and the little girl. They were cute together.
OK it is on the list of things to do before Christmas.
The little girl was really good.

I thought it wouild have been interesting to have had some chemistry between the prince and Robert, but I guess that's just me....
Maybe, in the sequel.
I thought James Marsden was drop dead hilarious.
