Well, as I said before - I thought everyone was wonderful.....(with one exception). If chipmunks qualified for academy awards, I'd nominate this one. He almost stole the movie from the others!

I was very pleased with my pumpkin pie this year, especially since I made it from a fresh pumpkin. I only made a sweet potato pie one time, but wasn't too keen on it.

Thanks D2. I always used the canned pumpkin in the past, but this year I thought I'd try something different. Just everything about it was very good. I made pumpkin soup with the leftover pumpkin. I brought in the remainder of the pie to work, so everyone here was happy.

J2 very smartly brought the extra desserts into his office the next day. Otherwise we'd both have been gorging on them all weekend.

Believe me, with the pie around the house, it was definitely pie for breakfast!! Funny thing is, it's the only time of year I eat pie.
