I'm actually stuck over in Scottsdale, as they have asked to curtail all but emergency traffic west on 10 until further notice.

I'm in constant touch with the TinMan, even though our land phone lines have been knocked out. He says the wind is still going strong at about 70mph. The neighborhood engulphed in smoke and ash is falling, but no visible flames yet.

We have many evacuated friends, so will be watching and waiting with hope for safety."

What a flippin' lousy 2 days! I played 5 games of 2 on 2 volleyball tonight, I feel like I was hit by a bus.

Marie Osmond passed out last night on "Dancing With the Stars".

I'm losing a boss I love as of Nov 1st and I am pissed! All around.

There, I am finished. I feel better.
