Addy is also gaining trick or treating cows.
Happy Birthday, Rob!
I just had a little bumble-bee who couldn't have been older than two. SO cute.
And Tinkerbell.
And Harry Potter.
And Spiderman.
And an assortment of monsters and ghosts and princesses.
Most of the costumes look to be homemade.
Candy for all!
(there's a Birthday thread on the main board for Rob!)
hep ya taking snapper out?
I think she ran into your party thread, Harris.
Addy, I wish I could see that bumble bee!
I'm so freakin' mad this Halloween. Three kids so far. That's it. And they come when I'm "indisposed"! Of all flippin' times! They kept knocking til I got there. Guess they were desperate for some candy. I gave them all a handful of stuff. Now I'm waiting for my little guy to get here.

I wanted to grab my camera and take a picture... but, that would be kind of weird to ask to take a picture of a child I don't know...
Girly, it's so funny the way some years I have tons of kids and some years there are so few... I never know how much candy to buy. And hate when I have too much left over. (I take it to the office the next day to get it out of my house!)
What is the little guy dressing up as?
we had about 20, the cows are teaching the mooooooooonwalk, and the necronomicon
Leftovers here go to work with me, too. Plus I buy stuff I don't like, so I won't eat it there either.
I don't know what he is this year. They were supposed to be here about 5-5:30, then go to eat at grandma's. They were running late, so went there to eat first. I was on the phone when they got there, and she saw them getting out of the car, but wouldn't tell me!!

...that's a good idea to buy stuff you don't like! I'll have to remember that next year!
I can't wait to hear what he is!
The anticipation is building.
Wow. I just got a treat!
I just answered the door and Dorothy was there. Her costume was just precious - and made by Mom.
Mom apparently works for Bloomingdale's, and, as a way of thanking those of us in the building who are handing out candy to the kids (apparently not many do, which I never realized and I think is a shame), she is handing out $25 gift certificates! I'm speechless!

I've just been sitting in the courtyard enjoying an absolutely perfect early evening - looking at the mountain, and picking some miniature pink roses to have inside.
I should have known Addy was about . . .
WOW! You got a gift certificate to Bloomingdale's, Addy? I always think I'VE had a good Halloween if my car doesn't get covered in shaving cream. That pretty much beats every Halloween I've ever had!
That sounds like a lovely way to spend the evening, DG!
The weather here in NYC is just perfect! The kids who are trick-or-treating outside (as opposed to inside apartment buildings...) don't even have to wear coats!
Well done, Addy!
DG, it didn't take long for Roger to make an appearance.
Miss P, I'm totally amazed!
They're a new family to the building. What a thoughtful thing for her to do!
I think one of the benefits of an apartment building is it cuts WAY down on the shaving cream and toilet paper stuff... no fun to do hacker's night stuff in the fully lit hallways!
That is one FABULOUS Roger picture!

Hep, Dahling - it only took the amount of time to download it to my system, open it back up in our HP Editor, save the new cropped version, which then got downloaded as my new AV.
I know I have a history of rapidly changing AVs, but this might be around for awhile - and will definitely be within easy reach forever
I don't blame you one bit, DG.
DG, I've always been partial to this photo, myself...
Poor guy lost his shirt.
If he shows up on DG's doorstep tonight, he'll lose more than that!!!

Why, MissP - how you talk!!!
Addy - that pic was left by papa on my birthday thread, and let's just say, I thought of blowing out more than candles.
Needless to say, it is a part of the permanent Roger folder I maintain.
Shocking, isn't it?
Terribly shocking, DG!
What a treasure...
