Addict! It's so good to see you here again! I know I owe you an email and I promise it's coming. I just don't have the energy, will, or desire to get on the PC after work and I have limited personal time when I'm here. I do promise to answer though.
Glebby - thank you so much for the little fuzzy babies. I just love kitties.

Posted: 11/1/07 at 1:31pmFor some reason, we have vendors come in and set up by the cafeteria a few times a week. Today was someone selling CD's, and he had the music blaring. I now have a combined duet of Judy's Turn To Cry and Let's Hang On swirling round my head. Interesting combo.

Just doing a drive by to wish everyone a happy November.
I moved on Sunday, and no Internet or Cable yet - so work is somewhat of a reprieve - at least I get to see what is going on.
I hope all of you had a great Halloween.
BTW - moving after being in one place for 16 years sucks!
Smoke on!

Oy, it is a lot of work.
But the place will look nice when it is done.
Stoli (the big gray cat) has already claimed the Townhouse as "his" - Zorra is still a bit freaked out.
Now I have to just finish getting the condo ready to rent.
Next time you are in LA, I will tell you the story about the drunken painter...

Posted: 11/1/07 at 2:56pmIt's completely understandable, YWIW! But things will calm down soon, and you can enjoy home sweet home!

Drunken painter? I wanna hear that one.
SO I'm having gall bladder surgery the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. *sigh* I'm trying everything I can to get out of it, but unless I have it now it would have to wait until May.

DD - it seems a good thing that your production got cancelled - time to focus on your needs. Do it now - it's important.
Congrats, YWIW! - it sounds like there should be a BWW house-warming. Roadtrip?

Posted: 11/1/07 at 3:16pmI know. Funny how things work out. If CB hadn't been canceled, it would've had to wait until May.

A DG flyby...whoosh...
Hi..bye, my friend!
So, DD, is this the kind of surgery where you have to stay in the hospital a few days? Can you imagine what a hospital's idea of a Thanksgiving dinner is likely to be??
#2316re: Can the Adults Please Smoke? Part 18A
Posted: 11/1/07 at 3:26pmmy grandmother had to have her gallbladder out over Thanksgiving when I was younger. My aunt was calling her at the hospital for help on the gravy recipe.

Posted: 11/1/07 at 3:27pmOh dear. Gravy. That's the last thing you want to think about following surgery.
#2318re: Can the Adults Please Smoke? Part 18A
Posted: 11/1/07 at 3:30pmI've never liked gravy all that much... Just seems like an excuse to eat grease!

DG - maybe!
DD - get it taken care of now, usually when you put things off, something else will come up and make it even more of a pain in the (well, not a$$...)
Not much of a gravy fan either - but my dad used to make the best!
Hi Pip!

Not a fan of gravy myself.
Pip - it's preventative, and they do it orthroscopically (sp) so I should be able to go home that evening, at most spend one night in the hospital. I should be home for Thanksgiving.

#2322re: Can the Adults Please Smoke? Part 18A
Posted: 11/1/07 at 3:39pmWell, that's good DD. You probably won't feel like eating much, but at least you won't have to spend the day in the hospital.
