Hep, you should make the trip...SoCal is much closer to you than NYC!

I assure you, DG, that eery bottle I have would be best appreciated by wine snobs. My friend Pierre hand-selected each and every bottle for me. He knows wine better than anyone I have ever known and he knows wines that most of us will never even see or hear of in our lifetimes. That's why I just let him point and say, "Oh, you MUST have this one!" And I put it in the cart, no questions asked!

Have I mentioned decanting yet? I really recommend it for older Reds. And it's actually kind of fun.

I actually posted something very beautiful to you in your thread, DG, but it was one of the posts that got inadvertently destroyed. I couldn't "recreate" it because it was too "in-the-moment" emotional.

But it was heartfelt...and I still mean every word of it!
