Tinky...you know they have kitty crates...we would leave it open for our older cat during the day, but he prefered to stay in it most of the time. I think the one we had 3 levels. Might work best for you at night.
If I walk into another room without her she meows, loudly. I'm going to give it a few more days seeing she has been there less than 48 hours so I'm sure she'll grow bored with a lot of it lol.
I would like sleep though.
And new observations - she will jump into the fridge if you leave it open for a few seconds and laydown on the bottom level, so keep that in mind if I complain I cant find kitty.
Second - she likes to lick and bite ears. I prefer to be woken up to that by a man not a cat, lol.
Tinky, give it time, she will get used to you and her new surroundings. I know the frustration though...especially when you want to sleep.
So I am trying to figure out the difference in some posts about people dying. I post something about the guy from "Jackass" who killed himself in a car crash......yes it was stupid what he did...I agree. I am not arguing that point. Anyone who knows me knows my feelings about drinking and driving. Anyway, it seems around these parts people didn't have sympathy for him or his family/friends. YET some stage hand overdoses and prayers are being said for him and his family. What is the difference here?
Same, same, but different! Expecting logic here is like expecting Harris's cows to bring anything but lemonade.
A death is a death and should be treated the same way. Whatever the reason for the loss of life it still is tragic, not just out of respect for that person, but for the families and friends of that person.
Sure there are things we all agree/disagree with morally about the causes of either death, but put yourself in the family's shoes, and it doesnt matter, they have lost someone dear to them. It's been four years and I still deal with questioning about my stepfather's suicide. I understand some people have moral issues with suicide as a whole and I respect that, but those issues should not show any different respect to my mother who is a survivor and must live with it every day.
ok, i have to end here, I have too much to say when it comes to this topic, lol.
Poddie...I agree.
Amen, Tinky! Any loss of life, no matter how it is taken, is tragic and painful, especially for the ones left behind.

We are pretty sure that my cousin committed suicide by crashing his car into a tree. My other cousin hung himself the week Cobain died. I must know at least a dozen people - three in one year! Awful!
It is almost a year since my sister passed and still pissed!
uncle boobies the reason why no one cared is that ryan dunn wasnt part of a show , so the main board lifeless, sexless show queen dont care.
*the wombat and roo bring somms a gin and tonic*
about freaking time!
Well, there are no ifs, ands, or buts, about my cousin. He jumped off that bridge. Lately, it's one of his sisters we're worried about.
I am having a happy, happy day today.

grandfather and a cousin.
If Girly is happy, EVERYBODY is happy.
Yea, we must enjoy it while we can. She's like a leap year.
Tink, it sounds like Serenity and Zander are related (Zander also is the Johnny Cash of cats - knocks stuff down just to see it fall and will jump into the fridge, dishwasher, desk drawer ... just for the heck of it).
I eventually banned him from the bedroom and invested in ear plugs because he would continually jump on me in the middle of the night and cry at the door (along with Zorra).
I also made sure nothing too breakable was near the edge of any piece of furniture.
Some cats are more nocturnal and louder than others - if you have one of them, earplugs are a good investment.
BD!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! Laughing so hard, had to tell everyone what was so funny!!!

Girly, tell them all that you're our little leap year
So a friend is coming in from out of town. She wants to see a show. She asked me if I'd like to see "The Book of Mormon" or "The Normal Heart." I told her I saw BOM already and it's hard to get tkts, but whatever they want. She said that she would have her other half check with AMEX. Last night I get an email that they got tkts for "How to succeed..." and it's $280 per couple. WTF? Oh yea, Row Q on the right. This is why you don't allow non-theatre friends to get the tickets! I really thought she'd check with me before purchasing. I figured she'd see if AMEX could get tkts for BOM. Live and learn my friends....live and learn!!!
Boobs - I know, I always insist on buying. Or at least telling them what to buy.
Goodness, it was a sad moment for a bunch of y'all today. But the kitties sound so cute, Tink.
D2 Doggie? WHAT?!

We're here, it's wonderful as always, we're just about to go and do our box-office crawl! It's our version of a pub crawl except we tickets instead of drunk.

Good morning, peeps. Good afternoon to Shames, D2 and J2 and my BFF Timmy who is also in London and is going to Wimbledon today without me.
Morning all! Happy Friday.
I would keep the cat out of the bedroom but I can't until I get an AC put in there. For now, I have a fan in the hallway that helps circulate the living room AC into the bedroom.
Last night she broke my favorite frame. I think I was a bit ambitious getting a kitten, lol, but then again I'm just a crabby young-old lady who doesnt like to be bothered.
Morning peeps! TGIF is all I have to say!
Agreed!
I need to pick up a little something more for the sis in law's bday which is next Friday. I have the Zip-It I ordered for part of her Christmas present last year that didn't come in time to mail off to her, so she's getting it now. I'm sure I'll figure something out. Hmmm.

'Morning! Oh to be in London.......
Lots to do for a Friday but I'm determined to avoid working on the weekend. I do enough of that during the school year!
I admire the patience and fortitude of those of you raising pets. At this stage of the game I couldn't do it. Too much time and trouble and I'm rarely home.
Moony, it is a challenge at times, but the joy and love you receive in return is worth it. My 2 make me laugh most of the time....there are times I want to kill them....alike like children.
