Q, it was very sad. She actually celebrated his birthday the Sunday before because she said "I won't be here for his birthday"

Her husband is a sweetheart. This is going to be hard on him, but his faith will keep him strong. They were both very religious which in this instance can be very helpful.

I just had one of those awkward laughs. I have written on my work calendar "wake Mary Lou" It struck me that as much as I love to, I can't wake her.

Thanks, Moony. I spoke with her cousin (who I dated through out H.S.)the other day. She went to see Mary Lou in the hospital and she was still making faces behind peoples backs. It was something only she could get away with, but she would get you to laugh right into the persons face. She was an amzing person and truly will be missed.

Boobs, I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. What a shock it must have been to receive that diagnosis.

I hope she made the most of her time with family and friends since she learned about the cancer, and I hope her faith was a source of strength to her.

Here's a toast to her laughter.

Today is my Friday. And I need it. I haven't been sleeping well for months and for the past few days I finally got a solid amount of sleep, but then last night the insomnia hit again and ruined the streak I had. I feel like crap this morning.

Tinky, try Valarium Root. You can pick it up in any health food store. I used it for a week and it worked like a charm. The past couple of weeks I seem to fall asleep without it

Boobs - I will have to check that out. I have tried various OTC things and a bunch of different teas people gave me but no luck. I'm to the point where I might just have to go see the Dr. boo.

Moony - unless I get completely plastered, I stay awake even when drunk, which just makes me feel 10x worse.

Night 1 with the sister successfully maneuvered. She is staying tonight as well, but first she is going over to my mom's for a hoot (a bunch of folks with guitars, banjos and the like singing folk songs and other activities I do not quite understand).

My mom asked me if I wanted to join them, and my response was "I would rather put a fork in my eye."

At least I get a point for honesty.
